Doctors’ Dinner

At a Doctors’ Dinner, MAPS trained doctors are invited to educate their medical colleagues (clinicians and other healthcare professionals) about available treatment options for autism (symptoms of autism?) as stated in the MAPS protocols; these treatments include biomedical interventions that help alleviate many of the symptoms of patients diagnosed with autism, thus improving their quality of life.

Also, doctors who have not been trained on the MAPS protocols will meet their MAPS colleagues in turn, and will know who to refer their patients to, regarding autism treatment options. It is TACA’s goal to motivate more doctors to become familiarized with the MAPS protocols and eventually become trained MAPS doctors themselves to better address the needs of their patients diagnosed with autism.
