Discuss the developmentally appropriate steps to get your child from where he is to where he should be compared to his peers.

Knowing where your child is (Point A) and where he should be compared to peers (Point B) will lead you to the creation of goals to lead your child where he needs to be.

Make sure goals are developmentally appropriate as some skills must be learned before others. For example, you cannot write cursive before you can hold a pencil.
