Last Resort: Medications
The use of pharmacology, e.g. sedative medications, should always be the last resort as they do not treat autism.
According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the use of every treatment in autism is “off-label” except for Risperidone and Aripiprazole for the treatment of irritability.
