I wanted to write a note of gratitude to TACA. But, I want to share this here so everyone that you know - knows that you saved a child's life - and that child is my son, Brandon.

I went to a Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) San Diego Chapter meeting where you were speaking about GI issues and Dr. Arthur Krigsman Pediatric Gastroenterology Resources and your recent trip there. This was so important to me and my husband that he came too - to hear your story. We heard and listened and also waited to chat with you for a bit after your presentation. I said, can we do anything locally and you said don't waste your time. I took your advice and in 3 months we went to Long Island to see Dr. Krigsman - we made a week out of it because I am from NJ and we visited people too. I was pregnant with #3 at the time. It was great to go home too! That was in March 2007 - and I am so happy I just listened to you. Brandon started treatment by May and the first thing I can tell you - in about a month or 2 - he stopped waking up in the middle of the night crying in pain. What a blessing for him - his tummy stopped hurting. We did treatment until 2011 for him and I can say we stopped meds for GI issues and he is perfectly healthy in that area now. So, please know, you saved a child from pain - because you just shared your experience and talked to me and my husband and we loved your spirit and truth so much that we listened to you. Our family will forever be grateful that you put your story out there for us and many others to hear and I am so thankful we were able to help him in that way. I know that you know what you do and why - but I want EVERYONE to realize - she did save my child's life and he is a happier and healthier child today because of you sharing your story and journey. Thank you Lisa - I love what you have done and continue to do - you have paid it forward and then some. You hold a special place in my families hearts!
