Breakfast Sausage Patties - GFCFSF

Makes four quarter-pound patties. These freeze great, so be sure to make extra and wrap them (raw) individually for easy grab-and-cook breakfast options.

1 pound ground pork (You could use chicken or turkey but you'll have to get extra fat from the butcher)
1 tablespoon coconut sugar or maple sugar
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon fennel
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
pinch of ground cloves
salt and pepper, to taste (I added a decent amount of salt, about a teaspoon)

Mix all ingredients well. Shape into patties and cook until done.
