Frozen Nut Butter and Chocolate Banana Pops - GFCFSF
Bananas (not over ripe, the skins should have a little green left)
2 tablespoons of your favorite nut butter (I used Justin's Maple Almond Butter for these) per banana
GFCFSF chocolate (I used Enjoy Life)
Coconut oil (2 teaspoons for every cup of chocolate)
Sticks (lolipop, popsicle, or whatever other stick you would like to use)
Peel and slice bananas in half lengthwise, spread nut butter on half, place stick in nut butter and cover with more nut butter. Put top piece back on banana, pressing together, scrape off any overflow. Freeze for 2-6 hours.
When ready, melt chocolate with coconut oil and mix well. Dip or spread on each banana and when set, wrap and leave in freezer until ready to eat.
