Ham with Honey Mustard Glaze

  • 4 lb cooked nitrate-free, GFCFSF ham
  • 2 tablespoons GF Country-style mustard (Like Grey Poupon Hearty Spicy Brown)
  • 3-4 teaspoons Apple Cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Mix mustard, vinegar, honey and sugar together, pour over ham.  Put 1/4 cup water in pan around sauce to keep from burning. Bake at 325 for an hour.  Slice and serve.

To find nitrate-free ham, either go to health food stores like Trader Joes or Whole Foods, or (better and cheaper) use www.localharvest.org and find a local farmer! (Hint - my local farmer charges $5 a pound for nitrate-free, GFCFSF ham, and much less for the uncooked pork. We go twice a year and pick up all of our pork for the season.)  No matter where you live, there ARE local farms or most farms will ship meat directly to your house!
