Lisa’s Quick Chili

  • 1 lb ground organic dark turkey
  • 2 cans drained beans (pinto, kidney and black are good)
  • 3 stalks finely chopped celery
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 finely chopped organic green pepper
  • 1/4 finely chopped Jalapeno (more if you like hot)
  • 2 cans organic chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 clove finely chopped garlic
  • Salt n pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup red wine


Sauté onions and garlic. Add celery, pepper and jalapeño. Cook for 5 mins. Add ground turkey, salt, pepper until browner. Add beans, tomatoes, wine and simmer low heat 40 mins. Served with GFCFSF corn bread and Daiya cheese on top.  Serves 4.
