Roasted Brussels Sprouts with bacon - GFCFSF
1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts
2-3 tablespoons liquid fat of choice (we used olive oil and reserved melted bacon fat)
Kosher salt and pepper
6 bacon slices, diced
Preheat your oven to 400°F. Trim the ends and any old or bruised outer leaves from the Brussels sprouts. Cut sprouts in half and toss with fat, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Dump onto baking sheet, flattening them out into a single layer. Sprinkle on bacon. Bake for 30-35 minutes, stirring halfway through.
