Then join TACA Texas with host Lisa Barli at the Let’s Talk About It Support Group meeting Saturday, February 14th from 2-4 pm in the second floor Community Room at the Sunflower Shoppe in Colleyville. Please join us this week to problem solve through roadblocks, lend support to one another and re-energize for another month of battle to restore health to our children. Join TACA Texas at La Madeleine in Frisco for Coffee Talk. These meetings are for families looking for support, fresh ideas, to share information and resources and for a lot of Hope. No autism topic is off limits and discussion is encouraged. Come with your questions and concerns but more importantly, come with your experiences. Your experiences will help another family on the autism journey. Journey Guides will be available to new families and books to borrow from the lending library. How
TACA Helps Texas Families
TACA does not charge admission
to the meetings, nor does it assess annual membership fees for families
it supports. Meetings feature:
- Free TACA Autism Journey Guides (over 750 pages of collective knowledge gathered from experienced paraprofessionals and parents) are offered to all parents who are attending their first Chapter meeting.
- Speakers on topics ranging from traditional therapies, integrated medical treatments, education, and legal support.
- TACA's Parent Mentors - one-on-one access to experienced families who have successfully navigated the challenges of finding appropriate treatments and educational opportunities for their children, and who receive additional education from TACA's Foundation Office.
