New Staff Member at TACA

We are pleased to introduce our newest staff member: Dan Gara, TACA Director of Finance and Administration. For the last 16 years, he served as Executive Director of Finance and Administration with the California-Pacific Conference of the United Methodist Church, a religious non-profit corporation overseeing 365 churches. His experience also includes 17 years in finance with Caterpillar, investment banking, and corporate acquisitions. Dan continues to be active in the United Methodist Church, having served on the denomination’s Council on Finance and Administration. He was elected several times as one of 1,000 delegates worldwide to the denomination’s highest legislative body. Dan lives in Laguna Niguel with his wife Debbie, a United Methodist minister, and they have four adult children and six grandchildren, one of whom is on the autism spectrum.
