9th Annual TACA Family Picnic

The TACA Family Picnic is a family-oriented annual event. We encourage our members to attend this fun-filled day, where there are activities for the children, vendors, resource providers, event sponsors, GFCF food, snacks, beverages and entertainment.

TIME

Registration opens: 11:00 am Picnic concludes: 3:30 pm

WHO

This is a family-friendly event. Please bring your family, friends and children affected by autism. Pre-event registration is recommended. Over 1,500 people are expected to attend.

DETAILS

This year’s picnic will feature:

  • Gluten-Free Casein-Free Food Options including TK Burgers and Tacos & Co.
  • Special Taste of Fullerton Foods (non GFCFSF) provided by Bourbon Street, The Lime Truck (winner of Season 2 of Food Network’s “Great Food Truck Race”) and The Cellar
  • Traditional Carnival Rides Including a Ferris Wheel, Carousel and Chair Swings
  • Fun Activities including Bounce Houses, Bubble Machines and a Balloon Artist
  • Meet and Greet at the “portable clinic” with Dr. Dan Rossignol & Dr. Anju Usman
  • (Sign up for meet and greets when you arrive at 11am. They will book fast.)
  • Hope4Hanna kids fun run & Dunk Tank (bring your dry clothes)
  • Kid’s Gladiator Joust featuring Dan “Nitro” Clark
  • Big Fun Gymnastics activity area
  • Special teen area hosted by the Autism Youth Ambassadors with kid friendly activities
  • Access to the Rancho Del Rio Stables with pony rides and a petting zoo
  • Over 35 resources in our vendor information faire with kid friendly activities
  • Silent Auction and Raffle Items.
  • Special musical guests and surprises!
Rain or shine- the activities, entertainment, and refreshments will begin at 11:00 am. We suggest that you arrive early!

NO PETS ARE ALLOWED! Only service animals with appropriate markings and identification will be allowed.

PARKING & DIRECTIONS

Parking: The Phoenix Club has limited parking additional parking is available on the street or in local lots. All events will occur at the Phoenix Club in a secure area.

Driving Directions: From the 57 freeway, take the Ball Road exit (head east), turn right at Phoenix Club Dr/ Auto Center, turn right at S Sanderson, destination will be on the left.
