Emma Cladis

Emma Cladis is a college sophomore majoring in English at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California. She has autism and mainly communicates by typing but is now beginning to use spoken communication. Emma was diagnosed when she was two and has been nonspeaking most of her life. At seven, she learned to communicate through typing, which she has used to engage the world ever since.

Emma loves being an advocate for others like herself by presenting at conferences and has authored books and videos describing her journey. Her passion for film and writing has brought her to a place of working to be a screenwriter, and she has written several screenplays.
