Monthly Learning Series:
November
This month, TACA’s Monthly Learning Series focuses on therapy for individuals with autism, covering both traditional evidence-based interventions and additional therapeutic options. We highlight Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Occupational Therapy (OT) as well-established, widely used approaches, while also exploring therapies that address specific developmental needs, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Speech Therapy, and Social Skills Programs. Families will learn how these therapies can target communication, sensory, behavior, and motor skills, and how age and stage, whether early intervention, adolescence, or adulthood, will influence which therapies are most appropriate and how they are applied. This month’s resources will help you combine and adapt interventions over time to create an individualized, evolving plan that supports long-term growth and independence.
