The Autism Community in Action (TACA) is proud to announce the appointment of Dana Crucil and Heather Grimaldi to TACA’s Autism Ambassadors Group. Established in 2010, the group of seventeen men and women are business and philanthropic leaders in the community with the mission to garner support and increase awareness for TACA

Crucil is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for more than eleven years in an array of areas including school districts, nonpublic agencies and insurance companies. She has a personal commitment to the special needs community from life experiences – her younger sister has autism. She is dedicated to helping families acquire appropriate services for their children while raising awareness and understanding for the autism community.

Grimaldi, MS, BCBA is the founder of Proof Positive ABA Therapies, which in 2016 was acquired by Autism Learning Partners to create one of the largest autism therapy platforms in the United States. In 2019 Grimaldi along with Dr. Kristin Shay created Simple Spectrum Supplement, a nutraceutical product designed to provide the nutritional needs of the developing nervous system with extra support for individuals with autism by addressing potential dietary deficits.
Crucil and Grimaldi both serve as committee members for TACA’s annual premier gala – Ante Up for Autism, which over 12 years has raised more than $4.7 million in support of TACA.
