Akshay is in his last year of school services and he’ll finish it with obtaining his diploma! He’s starting with a job program that is hopefully going to place him with his dream job (Disney).
Akshay also started coding classes as he has expressed his desire to go to college and take computer classes. He also did his very first public speaking presentations. One was for our school board, sharing about his inclusive education and the other was about his adult experience with ASD at the TACA National Conference. He turned 21 this year and got to try video poker. He picked it up pretty well.
