In 2023, Jeremiah, who is now 15, has made significant progress. At 14 he successfully learned how to ride a bike, improving his independence and mobility. Jeremiah is finally becoming conversational and has demonstrated a commendable commitment to safety, both for himself and others. He is on a journey of self-advocacy and learning to assert his needs and preferences. With that, he has taken on new responsibilities such as reading ingredient labels, preparing his own meals, and learning about budgeting his money. He has had an extreme growth in focus, responsiveness, and overall presence. Jeremiah has several emerging hobbies including basketball, swimming, and playing the piano. I can’t wait to expand on those interests and incorporate them with MANY social goals in 2024!!!
