More than 25 years ago, TACA began on the living room floor of founder Lisa Ackerman’s home, when she was searching for answers, support, and hope for her son. What started with ONE child grew into a community that now supports thousands of families navigating autism.

He drives, is a published musician, a high school and college graduate, and works. His future is bright. He inspires me every day with what he can do- and what he will continue to do.
