Mentor Program

Parent to Parent Support

TACA Parent Mentors are autism parents who volunteer their time to offer one-on-one support and resources about autism-related topics, such as; co-occurring conditions common in autism, nutritional and dietary support, insurance, obtaining services, navigating IEP’s (Individualized Education Program), therapies, and more.

Our amazing TACA Mentors have been TACA members for 2+ years and are parents and caregivers – just like you. With their experience, our TACA mentors are eager to guide diagnosed parents on how to gain services, support families looking into starting the GFCF (Gluten Free Casein Free) diet, help families navigating IEP’s and answer questions regarding various medical interventions.
