Summer Camp Scholarship (Philadelphia area only)

April 27, 2015

Raising a child with autism is expensive - TACA would like to help.

Summer Camp Scholarship (Philadelphia area only)

Made possible by fundraising efforts of the TACA Philadelphia Chapter.

TACA is pleased to announce an opportunity for families in the Philadelphia area to apply for Summer Camp for their child with autism. Scholarship maximum $500.

The TACA Family Scholarship Fund was developed to help families who are looking for summer camp options for their children with autism, but are struggling to find the funding. We understand how difficult it is to stretch the family budget.  It is our desire to provide limited financial assistance to eligible families. Thanks to the fundraising efforts of our TACA Philadelphia Chapter we are able to make this scholarship available to TACA families in the Philadelphia area.

Families must meet the following criteria to be eligible to receive assistance from the TACA Family Scholarship Fund:

  • Be a TACA member (sign up on the web, it’s FREE!)
  • Live in the Philadelphia area.

Deadline: July 20, 2015

***All camps are subject to availability and acceptance to camp. The camp application and the scholarship application both need to be completed. (TACA Scholarship online application form to TACA, camp application/registration to camp of choice). You can choose a camp other than our partner camps. The maximum scholarship for any camp is $500. For most of our partner camps this will cover 2 weeks of tuition, but it is up to you to double check that before choosing the camp. The maximum of the scholarship is $500, anything beyond that will be the responsibility of the applicant family. If you choose a camp other than one of our partner camps, you will have to confirm with them directly that they will accept a third party check.
