Kim DeAllen

Kim DeAllen has a wide scope of experience in philanthropy. She serves as the Senior Advisor for Walking Softer, a non-profit organization with the mission to inform, inspire, and support change-makers to take bold and immediate action in the conservation and regeneration of our planet. She has a heart for children-centered philanthropy and serves on the Segerstrom Center for the Arts A2A Board. In 2022 she was recognized as a Newport Beach Distinguished Citizen.

Kim was a member of the founding team of Alder (formerly Gen Next) and the Director of Corporate and Community Relations at Makar Properties. It was her philanthropic experience in Rehoboth, Namibia that led her to exit a career in television production to help more leaders achieve a triple bottom line in doing well while being outwardly focused.

Kim is a Colorado native who obtained a bachelor’s degree in film/television and a master’s in education from Chapman University as well as a certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility from Harvard Business School. Kim loves to cook breakfast, golf, read, travel, and have great moments with her people over a glass of champagne. She is most proud of having the titles of Mom and Coach. Kim and her husband Kevin have 7 children ranging in ages from 6 to 23 and live in Newport Beach with their dog Remy.
