Chelsea Henson, PsyD, BCBA-D

In 2003, Dr. Chelsea Henson joined the Autism Spectrum Consultants Orange County team. She provided 1:1 in home ABA therapy, parent consultation, school shadowing, social skills group facilitation, parent group facilitation, and program supervision. Dr. Henson became the Assistant Clinical Director at ASC, Orange County in 2008 and helped establish the ASC Inland Empire office as Clinical Director in April 2016. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2002, graduating with Psi Chi honors. As an undergraduate, she was trained in Pivotal Response Treatment at the Koegel Autism Center. In 2009, Dr. Henson received her Doctorate of Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Child and Adolescent Development. As part of her training, Dr. Henson worked with various community centers treating a range of diagnoses including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and ASD in children and adolescents. Her clinical research entitled, “Early Intervention for the Underserved Autism Spectrum Disorder Population,” focused on methods to better identify and treat those children who may be falling through the cracks. Dr. Henson is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst- Doctoral level.
