Jeff Ackerman
Jeff Ackerman is Lisa Ackerman’s son and the inspiration behind forming TACA in 2000. Diagnosed with autism at 2 1/2 years of age, Jeff benefitted from intensive early interventions that included applied behavioral analysis, speech therapy, occupational therapy, reading comprehension courses, and medical treatment for diagnosed issues. Jeff, now 26 years old, is a college graduate, has a job, enjoys composing music, playing guitar, all kinds of sports, hanging out with friends, and has a positive outlook on life. His personal story is a testament to hard work, dedication, and never giving up on your dreams.
