Kate Incremona

My name is Kate and I am proud to serve as a Client Services Program Manager at the Southwest Region of Canine Companions I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2016 (GO HOKIES) knowing that my love for animals would be a guiding force for my career trajectory.

My journey into professional dog training began at an academy in Hutto, Texas, where for three months I learned everything from competitive obedience to search and rescue, scent work, and protection work. Following my training, I spent a few months honing my skills at a board and train facility in Austin, before making the long trek to Santa Rosa, CA to begin my next adventure with Canine Companions.

At Canine Companions, I found my true calling. While my initial passion was for dog training, I soon discovered a deep connection with our mission and the profound relationships formed with our clients. My time in Austin left me yearning for a stronger bond with those I served, and joining Canine Companions fulfilled that need.

I spent the past six years in the training department as a Senior Instructor and Certified Hearing Instructor. Now, as a Client Services Program Manager, I am thrilled to continue supporting graduates as they embark on their journey with their Service Dogs. Witnessing these teams grow and thrive brings me immense joy and fulfillment.
