Michelle Del Rosario

Michelle Del Rosario has a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Fullerton. She and her husband have three children, ages 29, 27 and 24. Her youngest son has autism and is non-speaking. Michelle has a passion for seeking parent education and learning more about how to help her son use multi-modal communication methods while presuming competence. She has been able to pay it forward by volunteering as a parent mentor. In sharing her experiences about their journey to communication, she and her son continue to demonstrate that non-speaking doesn’t mean non-thinking. Michelle joined our TACA staff 7 years ago and is our Adult Programs Coordinator. She is dedicated to helping families take action to find hope and answers that will lead to the brightest futures for their loved ones.
