Description
This session explores the medical drivers behind challenging behaviors in autism, including aggression, self-injury, hyperactivity, mood swings, and reactivity. Families will learn how underlying issues such as pain, constipation, gut infections, brain chemistry imbalances, low cortisol, food sensitivities, and autoimmune conditions like PANS/PANDAS can trigger or worsen behavioral symptoms.
Attendees will gain practical guidance on:
- Recognizing medical red flags behind behavioral outbursts
- Understanding the role of gut health, inflammation, and infections
- Using natural supports to balance brain chemistry (serotonin, dopamine, GABA)
- Testing strategies to uncover root causes
- Effective interventions to reduce pain and improve behavior without masking symptoms
This presentation equips parents with tools to look beyond surface behaviors and take informed steps toward medical healing and long-term behavioral improvement.
