Mentor Program

This program is a fully developed, managed program offering experienced, trained, supported, qualified Mentors to guide new parents on the Autism Journey. Our program is unique in the autism community and supports our mission: For families who have just received the autism diagnosis, TACA aims to speed up the cycle time from the autism diagnosis to effective treatments.

A message from the Mentor Program Coordinator

Who can Apply for a Parent Mentor?

Custodial and primary caregiver of a child diagnosed with ASD who is living with the child (or has conservatorship) and is living in the United States.

What Can You Expect?

A Parent Mentor who is assigned to you will be a volunteer who has been on the autism journey with their own child for more than two years utilizing dietary interventions, medical treatments and therapies. Mentors are screened and trained before being assigned to a parent. Mentors must meet criteria in various autism topic categories to be accepted into the program. You will be matched based on your needs and the experiences and knowledge of TACA’s available mentors.

You can expect to have a mentor assigned to you in less than 2 weeks, usually in less than 1 week.
