When Jason finished high school, I was very fearful of what would become of my child. The only thing he ever wanted to do, was to work in a grocery store. We have a great job coach, and as a team, they set out to get him a job in a grocery store.
December 2023 is the 2 year mark of employment at Albertson’s and being part of the Union. It is part-time, but he loves it, and the team at his store is very accepting of him. I couldn’t do it without the Regional Center, and the self-determination program.
