TACA Minnesota holds Autism Learning Seminars, Coffee Talks and family events throughout the year. Our seminars feature educational speakers on important topics for ASD families. Our Coffee Talks and family events provide more settings where families can informally network, share resources and speak with seasoned parents.

Speakers: Anne Kelly, MD, MPH and Thomas Francis McCarthy, MD
Part 1 - RoadMap of Functional Medicine for Children with Autism
Part 2 - Specific pathways on the RoadMap: how to treat mitochondrial dysfunction, oxidation stress, autoimmune and inflammatory imbalances and specific genetic SNP's. Plus how to choose the right innovative technologies for your child: HBOT, microcurrent electrical stimulation for poor mitochondrial function, infrared sauna, hydrogen water for oxidative stress and other tools to assist with detoxification. Dr's Kelly and McCarthy will help you understand your child's unique needs in order to solve the puzzle of autism.
Dr. Kelly and Dr. McCarthy will have example lab tests (Great Plains OAT, environmental toxins and Glyphosate), explain lab collections, provide handouts on nutritious lunch menus, and more, following the presentations.
Both doctors will also be available for Q&A.
