The Role of Functional Neurology in Autism, ADHD, and beyond...

10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Knoxville Functional Neurology
120 Huxley Rd.
Knoxville, TN 37922

Speaker: Dr. Caleb Edmiston
Functional neurology uses the understanding of neurological development, neuroanatomy and connectivity, and neuroplasticity (the brain’s ability to change throughout life) to develop specific rehabilitation strategies for improving physical, mental, and emotional health. Therefore, it can be effective for a wide range of conditions, including, but not limited to, neurodevelopmental delays in children, attentional/behavioral challenges, sensory processing issues, movement disorders, brain injuries, autoimmune conditions, balance problems, and neurodegenerative conditions. Join TACA as we learn about new therapeutic strategies and how functional neurology can be beneficial for children with autism, ADHD, SPD, behavioral issues, movement disorders, and more!
Attendees that RSVP in advance will be entered to win a free 1 hour evaluation by Dr. Caleb.
With bachelor’s degrees in both Exercise Science & Nutrition, as well as a Doctorate of Chiropractic, Dr. Caleb has a deep understanding of the intricate connections between the brain and the body. He firmly believes in an individual’s ability to positively influence his or her health, regardless of the severity of the condition, and he works to help facilitate that process.

Join hundreds of parents and professionals to learn the latest in research, treatment options and therapies for individuals with autism. The National TACA Autism East Coast Conference will feature three days, and now four tracks of presentations to cover all aspects and levels of the autism journey. Topics will include special diets, therapies, beginner and advanced biomedical treatments, IEP, inspiration, navigating adulthood, and much more. Whether your child is recently diagnosed or you have years of experience, you will walk away from the conference with a plan for the next steps of your autism journey.
