TACA Arizona holds Coffee Talks throughout the year. Our Coffee Talks and family events provide more settings where families can informally network, share resources and speak with seasoned parents.

Teen/Adult Virtual Parent Meeting

Parents with Teens & Adults - Let’s get together virtually with TACA and plan for the Holidays. TACA mentors will be sharing ideas to help your family this holiday season. Ideas including special food, family gatherings, gift ideas for your sensory seeker (or avoider!) and lots more will be shared and discussed. You don’t have to come up with every great idea yourself! Every attendee will receive handouts with Holiday tips and family letter to give to family and friends who might appreciate a little extra detail about how to help your child make the most of this holiday season. Registration will close shortly before the event. An email with the log in information will be sent to you the day of the event.

You can share resources with others, join the conversation or just listen in, everyone is welcome as we explore all things autism and the holiday season! Programs & Services

Mentor Program

Through TACA's Parent Mentor Program, you can be matched with an experienced, trained TACA Parent Mentor for one-on-one support, guidance throughout the autism journey.

Online Support Group

TACA Hope and Help for Autism is a private, moderated Facebook group for parents of children with autism. This forum provides a supportive environment where parents can share experiences and gain insights about how to help their child live their best life.

Family Resources

TACA's website provides in-depth, comprehensive information and resources to help parents navigate all aspects of the autism journey, including obtaining a diagnosis, developing skills, medical issues, special education/IEPs, diet, preparing for adulthood, and more.

Conferences

Annually, TACA hosts a parent conference featuring expert speakers from across the United States. Presentations focus on a wide variety of autism-related topics, including school/IEPs, therapeutic interventions, advocacy, medical issues, preparing for adulthood, and more.

Chapters

TACA has local Chapters across the United States providing families affected by autism with education, resources and support. Chapters hold educational family events, meetings, seminars and/or Coffee Talks.

Scholarships

Since 2006, TACA has been providing scholarships to families for medical and therapeutic interventions. Scholarship availability relies on the generosity of donors, foundations, and the fundraising efforts of TACA Chapters.

Events

TACA hosts regular events to educate, support, and deliver hope to families on an autism journey. Many of our education events allow for virtual participation, and we host monthly virtual family meetings to bring support to families regardless of their location.
