Gabriel Belfort, MD, PhD
Gabriel Belfort, MD, PhD, is the Vice President of Clinical Development Sciences and Operations at Axial Therapeutics and is responsible for the design, conduct, and data analysis of all clinical trials at the company. He received his M.D. and Ph.D. from Boston University, was a resident in neurology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and completed postdoctoral scientific training at MIT. He has been in the industry for over 10 years working on clinical trials for a range of neurological and psychiatric indications including Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, epilepsy, major depression, and schizophrenia. He feels very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with patients and their families toward improving the lives of people with ASD.
